So I bought some mint from the supermarket and used hardly any of it. Does anyone else do that? I wondered if there was a way to save it and was going to try to freeze it, but then I read that mint could take root in water. It’s kind of amazing how well this has turned out. Look at that healthy root system! I’m wary of planting the mint into the garden where I’m told it will take over, so I think I’ll leave it in this (otherwise unused) wine glass on the kitchen bench where it’s doing just fine. My two year old likes it too and calls it “Mummy’s dinner spinach”.
